Dogs & the present moment

With the chaos of the world, the headlines, the mass destruction and de-humanization of beloved races…. dogs are unaware of the atrocities. Oh, to be a dog. Obviously, the dogs on the ground in different geographical regions are experiencing the darkness first hand.

One thing I’m reminded of daily is the presence of a dog. When I am grooming, one-on-one, staying present is almost a requirement. The dog keeps me centered and focused… just as they are. There is nothing better than being in the presence of a dog. Yep… nothing.

Stay present. That’s the message.

Dogs are great at honoring their present moment… their present emotions.. their present intincts. Let’s all take notes and truly embody the magical ways of dogs.
